Objectives
Research into determining the efficacy of a variety of treatments to deactivate oospores of PA.
Outcomes
Trigene, saltwater immersion, metam sodium were ineffective against PA oospores, whereas a p.H of 9 or 10 after 48hr exposure and heat temperatures of 60-70C applied for 4 hrs were effective against oospores.
