Established within Biosecurity New Zealand, the Tiakina Kauri Management Agency invests in key Kauri protection activities in partnership with mana whenua and collaborating agencies, such as the Department of Conservation and regional councils across Kauri lands (where Kauri naturally grow - from Waikato to Te Tai Tokerau Northland).

This website has been created to provide information about Kauri protection, including:

• research about Kauri and the Phytophthora agathidicida pathogen;
• the National Pest Management Plan to protect Kauri from disease, and;
• resources and information to help everyone take action to protect Kauri.
